Mustache Contest!!

Surely you jest…these fine looking officers are clean shaven? But for the month of March many of the Air Force officers competed for the fullest, best looking “stache” on base. Anyone could vote…..one vote = $1 and it all went to the dogs!!  To the Service Dogs, that is. The contest began to honor the many service men and women who are still suffering from the conflicts of war.

The Air Force motto is to “Never Leave Our Wingman”, and their efforts showed that commitment in all the donations and support of Mustache March. Randall Pike, SDA Board VP, added that “he would like to formally apologize to all the spouses that had to tolerate this bodacious and raucous event, and that MSgt Polson pulled off top honors with his outrageous video and Captain Carlson’s son is really growing into a “Man’s Man”. Let’s not forget the awesome comparative collage presented by Major Thiess with his Bieber Stache, Hulk Hogan, and Paul Blart poses”. This contest was all in good fun and for a great organization! Thank you to all the Air Force officers who participated!
